    Tuesday Talks

Tuesday Talks are run independently and receive no funding from other bodies. Since it is not practical to charge an entry fee to online meetings, guests are invited to contribute towards speakers' fees and Zoom expenses via a GoFundMe page.

Contributions are entirely voluntary and without any obligation on the part of guests.

How much? Most local talks clubs charge around £5 when they meet in person. Guests are invited to make monthly contributions that reflect the talks that they have enjoyed.

GoFundMe deducts 2% plus 20p to cover their administration costs, a fee that is in line with other charitable giving pages. HenceTuesday Talks receives about 98% of your gift.

Credit or Debit cards? Most credit cards treat a donation as a cash withdrawal. You may prefer to use a debit card.

BACS Transfer If you prefer to contribute by bank transfer, please email Peter Sotheran  for the bank details.

Any surplus will be donated periodically to charities nominated by the speakers or the organisers.
