Marske Centre (popularly known as Marske Leisure Centre) is a modern, purpose-built community centre with a large concert room, smaller meeting rooms, a sports hall, a licensed bar and coffee bar. There is a stair-lift to the concert room on the first floor to assist guests with impaired mobility.
Parking There is ample free parking on the car park we share with the Co-op supermarket. Parking is limited to 2 hours which easily covers the one hour concerts. You are welcome to stay longer, there is no charge but it is important to register your car reg. no. at the customer service desk inside the store. Failure to do so may lead to a penalty charge.

Adèle Bracegirdle, flute
& Ben Attfield, piano
Adèle Bracegirdle Adèle has performed across Switzerland as part of Ticino Musica as both a soloist and chamber musician. Here in the UK, Adèle is a regular guest soloist with the Rhos Orpheus Male Voice Choir and has performed as a soloist with The Hallé Orchestra. Alongside her classical training, Adèle has played in numerous musical theatre productions including Les Misérables, Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease, and The Sound of Music, her performances covering the full range of flutes, saxophones, and keyboard instruments. Adèle has recorded and premiered a wide variety of new music as both a flautist and pianist.
Ben Attfield graduated from the University of Manchester, with a first class degree in music. He was awarded the Hargreaves prize and was one of the winners of the 2022 concerto competition. He is currently studying for a masters degree at the Royal Northern College of Music. Ben works as an accompanist and tutor in piano/theory at Xaverian College, and is also the rehearsal pianist for the Hallé Children's Choir. In addition to this, Ben enjoys has recently working with the Manchester Camerata, Northern Film Orchestra, International Film Orchestra, Manchester Chamber Choir, the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, Chetham's School of Music, and the Hallé Choirs.

Leda Mileto, violin
& Kanako Mizuno, piano
Leda Mileto - Having encountered the violin at the age of ten, she was taught according to the principles of the Italian school. She graduated from the Conservatoire in Rome in 2020, and was selected for Yair Kless’s studio at the Royal Northern College of Music. Here she formed the Aestus String Quartet (2021-present). Leda plays a Johannes Cuypers violin of the year 1797.
Kanako Mizuno - is an award-winning Japanese pianist known for her solo performances, chamber music collaborations and recordings. Having won the Tokyo Piano Competition Kanako studied at the Royal Academy of Music. Kanako is noted for her performances of works from classical to contemporary composers including Beethoven, Chopin and Tokuyama in venues across the UK and Europe.

Gabriela Costa Peres cello
& Winnie Su piano
Gabriela Peres – the Portuguese cellist completed her Master’s degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (Austria) and began studying at the Royal Northern College of Music last September for a Master’s in Performance. Gabriela performs regularly across Europe at major festivals including the Orlando Chamber Music Festival, Casa del Quartetto residency, Milano Musica, Diotima Quartet Academy, Kammermusik Festival Stockholm and Steirisches Kammermusik, among others and has been many international awards. She performs on a 1778 Sebastian Dallinger cello (Vienna) on loan.
Winnie Su - born and raised in Australia, Winnie is a deputy tutor at the Junior RNCM and a youth ambassador for the British and International Federation of Festivals. Her accolades include over 80 prizes in festivals and competitions. Winnie made her first concerto soloist appearance aged 12 in Sydney, and she has performed in major venues across the U.K and Australia, including the Wigmore Hall, The Bridgewater Hall and Chatswood Concourse. She has made soloist appearances with The Hallé, RNCM Symphony Orchestra and the Leeds Symphony Orchestra. Most recently she was awarded The Biddy Baxter and John Hosier Music Trust Award 2025.
