Marske Centre  (formerly known as Marske Leisure Centre) is a modern, purpose-built community centre with a large concert room, smaller meeting rooms, a licensed bar and coffee bar. There is a stair-lift to the concert room on the first floor to assist guests with impaired mobility. There is ample free and unrestricted parking behind the building.

Classical Cleveland is pleased to work alongside Marske Leisure Centre and to present this exciting new series of concerts.

The Roseberry Duo

Jeremy Harbottle is one of the region's best known and highly acclaimed cellists and musical directors, regularly directing several of the area's leading choirs and and the Cleveland Chamber orchestra.

Sarah Paterson graduated from the RNCM with a B.Mus (Hons) and has since established herself as one of the North-East's most highly regarded harpists. Sarah has made two recordings with Victorian Opera Northwest and with the Black Dyke Band  She teaches the harp at Queen Mary’s School, Yarm School and privately, .

Programme: includes music by Debussy, Chopin, Massanet, Rubbra and a selection of favourites from musical theatre.

Charlotte Potter, soprano

with  the Odell Singers

Charlotte Potter is one of the rising stars in the world of opera. Originally from Guisborough, Charlotte has recently graduated from London's Guildhall School of Music with a BMus (Hons). Charlotte has already performed alongsde Lesley Garrett, and as guest soloist at the Great North Proms in Newcastle. She has performed at many of Britain's most prestigious venues including The Sage Gateshead, the Royal Festival Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall and Westminster Central Hall.

Charlotte also appeared as an 'Oxford music undergraduate' in an episode of ITV's 'Endeavour' series, the spin-off from the original 'Morse' detective series. It is a real privilege to be able to present such a versatile and highly regarded musician here in Marske.

Programme: includes music from popular light opera and favourites from the best of current musical theatre.

J2Duo - Josh Hughes & Joel Redfern

 Classical guitars

J2Duo consists of Josh Hughes from Grimsby and Joel Redfern of Doncaster who are both fourth year undergraduates under the tutelage of internationally renowned classical guitarist Craig Ogden. The duo often perform pieces not originally composed for the guitar, demonstrating their ability to bring a new dimension to the music

Programme includes: music by Claude Debussy, Mario Tedesco, Johann Sebastian Bach and others.

Keelan Carew, piano

Oliver Charles-Lee  began learning the play the piano at the age of seven, following in the musical footsteps of his great-grandfather, an award-winning musician 100 years ago and his mother, a highly regarded pianist. Ollie is also an accomplished saxophonist.

Pianist Keelan Carew hails from Kent. After completing his studies at RNCM, Keelan’s musical ambitions for the future revolve around championing new works for the piano and unsung composers from the past. He has also developed a particular affinity for the lesser-known works of great composer-pianists like Busoni, Godowsky and Medtner, whose music he is keen for others to discover and enjoy.

  • Poulenc -  Clarinet Sonata

  • Debussy - Premiere Rhapsody

Kaylee Ramella  violin & 

Stanley Butcher piano

Kaylee Ramella  has been playing the violin from the age of two. Kaylee served as concertmaster of her school orchestra and was coached by members of the Cleveland (Ohio)  Orchestra. In 2018-2019, she served as concertmaster for both the Ohio Regional and All-State Orchestras. Kaylee is currently studying at RNCM for her Masters Degree in Violin Performance.

Programme: includes music by Brahms and Beethoven
