Marske Centre (popularly known as Marske Leisure Centre) is a modern, purpose-built community centre with a large concert room, smaller meeting rooms, a sports hall, a licensed bar and coffee bar. There is a stair-lift to the concert room on the first floor to assist guests with impaired mobility.
Parking There is ample free parking on the car park we share with the Co-op supermarket. New regulations are expected shortly, limiting Parking to 2 hours which easily covers the one hour concerts. You are welcome to stay longer, there is no charge but when the new controls are introduced it will be important to enter your car reg. no. at the customer service desk inside the store. Failure to do so may lead to a penalty charge.

Adèle Bracegirdle, flute
& Ben Attfield, piano
Adèle Bracegirdle Adèle has performed across Switzerland as part of Ticino Musica as both a soloist and chamber musician. Here in the UK, Adèle is a regular guest soloist with the Rhos Orpheus Male Voice Choir and has performed as a soloist with The Hallé Orchestra. Alongside her classical training, Adèle has played in numerous musical theatre productions including Les Misérables, Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease, and The Sound of Music, her performances covering the full range of flutes, saxophones, and keyboard instruments. Adèle has recorded and premiered a wide variety of new music as both a flautist and pianist.
Ben Attfield graduated from the University of Manchester, with a first class degree in music. He was awarded the Hargreaves prize and was one of the winners of the 2022 concerto competition. He is currently studying for a masters degree at the Royal Northern College of Music. Ben works as an accompanist and tutor in piano/theory at Xaverian College, and is also the rehearsal pianist for the Hallé Children's Choir. In addition to this, Ben enjoys working with the Manchester Camerata, Northern Film Orchestra, International Film Orchestra, Manchester Chamber Choir, the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, Chetham's School of Music, and the Hallé Choirs.

Leda Mileto, violin
& Kanako Mizuno, piano
Leda Mileto took up the violin the violin at the age of ten and she was taught according to the principles of the Italian school. She graduated from the Conservatoire in Rome in 2020, and was selected for Yair Kless’s studio at the Royal Northern College of Music. Here she formed the Aestus String Quartet (2021-present). Leda plays a Johannes Cuypers violin of the year 1797.
Kanako Mizuno is an award-winning Japanese pianist known for her solo performances, chamber music collaborations and recordings. Having won the Tokyo Piano Competition Kanako studied at the Royal Academy of Music. Kanako is noted for her performances of works from classical to contemporary composers including Beethoven, Chopin and Tokuyama in venues across the UK and Europe.

The Italian Classical Guitar Duo present
Blazing Strings,an evening of Fire & Elegance
Giulio Tampalini is one of the most well-known and charismatic Italian guitarists, appreciated worldwide. A Warner Classics Artist, winner of the Italian Arts and Culture Award (akin to an MBE), he has released over 45 solo albums, teaches as Professor of guitar at Conservatories in both Imola and Bergamo, and has the honour of having played for the Pope in the Vatican.
Daniele Fabio is a multi-award winning Italian guitarist and composer from Calabria. He won the Ali Sul Mediterraneo International Award in 2022. In 2018 he began a regular collaboration with Giulio Tampalini, performing in festivals throughout Europe and the UK. Daniele has quickly established himself as an important composer for the guitar. His works bring influences from jazz, blues, flamenco and folk music to the world of classical guitar.

Minsung Park piano
Minsung Park – was born in 2003 in Busan, South Korea and started learning the piano at the age of seven. In 2025, he graduated from the RNCM with a Bachelor of Music degree with First Class Honours and is now pursuing a Master’s degree at the RNCM under Graham Scott. Minsung has performed across England, Vietnam, Poland, Italy and France. He has won prizes in international piano competitions andwas also one of the six finalists and laureates in the Liszt Society International Piano Competition in 2025.

Masato Wada, piano
Born in Hiroshima and a graduate of the Tokyo University of the Arts, Masato Wada is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM). Throughout his years of study, Masato has won many awards including the Okayama Prefectural Governor’s Award and the Kawai Prize at the annual Hiroshima Summer Concert.
